Admission is required to enter the Village. The cost is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children 4-11. Museum members and children 3 and under are free, Self-Guided Tours are included with admission cost.

Visitors can visit eleven historic buildings on a tour with one of our guides. During May through September, Guided Tours depart from Hayner House at 10:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday through Saturday and 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for children 4-11. Visitors wishing to do a Self-Guided Tour (outside of buildings only) may do so during our open hours of operation. The cost is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children 4-11. Museum members and children 3 and under are free.

The tour takes one and a half hours.

Admissions are handled in our Gift Shop in Hayner House. Follow the paved trail to the big white house and look for the Gift Shop sign.

Visitors can only walk through the Village on their own if they have paid the admission fee. The historic buildings are not staffed at all times so they are viewable only while on a Guided Tour. Visitors cannot enter the buildings on a Self-Guided Tour. (Watch our Events page to find out when!)

Visitors can see the special exhibits any time during regular museum hours. Admission to exhibits is also included in tour prices.

Eleven of the buildings are actual historic buildings that were saved from demolition and moved to Heritage Village Museum and two buildings are replicas of historic buildings. They are from various locations around Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. The only two buildings that are not historic buildings are Schram Print Shop, which was built solely to house printing equipment and the Kemper Stone Kitchen, which is a replica of the original Kemper kitchen, reconstructed according to the detailed plans described in the Rememberances of Helen Kemper Blinn. 

Village visitors may take pictures outdoors during their tour for their personal use. Professional photography of any kind requires a permit from Heritage Village Museum. Photography inside buildings and special events is permissible unless otherwise noted.(Please click the Photography tab for more information).
