Join us for our 2026 Period Dinner Series and sample some 19th century cuisine. The theme for this year’s Christmas by Candlelight is Christmas at Orchard House. All the dishes are inspired by Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. The menu includes: Cranberry Winter Salad, “Turkey a sight to behold,” Plenty of Potatoes, “The History of Squash” Winter Squash, and for dessert Fine Cake with Peppermint Ice Cream.
Lauren Woods will prepare the meal and give guests background into the history and preparation of each dish in their menus. Each dinner has entertainment provided in accordance with the theme. This may include music, dancing, trivia, theatrical performances, historical presentations, first person programming, or other entertainment.
