Heritage Village is proud to present the region’s only year-round immersive, paranormal experience: Spirits by Starlight. Past and present collide here, and the Village performs as a portal for endless supernatural possibilities. Our expansive collection of pioneer buildings and artifacts voyaged from across the Ohio Valley to call Heritage Village home. Now they snuggle into the curvature of a Neolithic canyon, amidst Native American burial mounds, at the heart of prehistoric Sharon Woods. For half a century, strange stories have swirled around us here. That mythos includes: furniture moving autonomously, electrical anomalies, cold spots, disembodied voices, spectral smells and sounds, phantom footsteps, full-bodied apparitions, and more.
Paranormal historian Violet Shindler has swept the local community collecting and curating these stories in a documentary archive. For the first time in over a decade, we open our wrought-iron gates after hours, inviting the public on an excursion of paranormal proportions. As the moon grows full and the veil grows thin – you’ll venture through historic landmarks, learn their stories, and plunge into an active paranormal investigation.
This tour is for ages 18 and up. Admission is $35 per person. Museum members and students get a reduced rate of $25 per person. College students must show a valid student I.D. Pricing will increase in 2027 to $45 per person. Museum members and students get a reduced rate of $35 per person.
