Heritage Village Volunteers
What is the most important part of a village? The people in it! Our volunteers make Heritage Village Museum come alive and are essential to fulfilling our mission. It “takes a village” to run the Village and we need YOUR help to do it!
We are actively recruiting volunteers to begin training. There are all kinds of ways to help. We need interpreters who dress in period clothing to demonstrate 19th century crafts, jobs, cooking, etc., to give guided tours, and to help with our education programs. There are also opportunities to help us with visitor services, hospitality, gardening, office work, and our amazing special events like Civil War Weekend and Haunted Village. The time commitment can be as flexible as you need it to be, and we provide the training.
As a volunteer, you will have a unique opportunity to learn about life as it was in the 19th century and pass that historical appreciation on to thousands of visitors each year. Come learn with us and share your passion for history with others! Heritage Village Museum is the only outdoor living history museum in the Greater Cincinnati area and a great place to step into the past.
