“History to Go” are convenient learning programs which can be brought to the classroom. A visiting interpreter will come to your classroom to teach students about certain aspects of pioneering Ohio history. Choose the standard “19th Century Family Life” presentation or contact our Education Director to discuss a customized program.
19th Century Family Life
Did you know that children in the 1800s had to start doing chores and had responsibilities from the age of three? In fact, every member of the family had work to do every day. This one-hour program will help the student to better appreciate what they have now. “Mystery objects” in this program will also encourage discussion.
